Comparative analyses of DNA extraction methods for whole blood quantification of HCMV DNAemia in patients with hematological diseases: False negative cases in manual method

چکیده

Human cytomegalovirus (HCMV) DNA quantitation in whole blood (WB) by real-time or quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) is a highly sensitive and reproducible diagnostic procedure for monitoring HCMV DNAemia (DNAemia the detection of samples plasma, blood, isolated peripheral leukocytes buffy-coat specimens) patients. We provided comparative analysis extraction performance two different techniques, one performed an automated extractor other manual method. observed that method allowed presence weak viremia while no differences are when viral load greater. Therefore, suitable recommended protocol not only early infection but also more accurate during post-therapy follow-up.
